AFC believes that all youth deserve to know that they are valued and capable of greatness. We envision a future when all youth are impactful members of a community that supports and embraces them.

AFC serves over 130 youth through one-to-one mentoring relationships in the AFC Mentors program and through life-skills workshops, internships, and group mentoring in the AFC Leaders program. While many young people will “age out” of foster care without a network of support, last year, 89% of youth identified AFC Mentoring as an ongoing supportive resource. Unlike most programs for youth in foster care, youth will never “age out” of AFC’s services.
