Boston, MA – Silver Lining Mentoring, a non-profit whose mission is to empower youth in foster care to thrive through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills, is excited to announce that Peter Alberding has joined its Board of Directors. Peter is a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry and currently leads Raymond James’ wealth management unit in Boston.

“Helping people understand their options and find a path to personal fulfillment has long been a passion of mine, both professionally and personally,” said Peter Alberding. “I am thrilled to join the Board of SLM, an organization devoted to helping young people through sustained, meaningful mentorship relationships with caring adults.”
Founded in 2001, Silver Lining Mentoring empowers youth in foster care to thrive through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills. Silver Lining Mentoring is the only mentoring organization in Massachusetts, and one of only a few nationwide, that exclusively serves youth in foster care. SLM provides targeted, specialized mentoring services and life skills training for young people who have been impacted by the foster care system.
