Boston, MA – Silver Lining Mentoring, a non-profit whose mission is to empower youth in foster care to thrive through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills, is excited to announce that Katherine (Kappy) Freund has joined their Board of Directors. Kappy is the Director of Marketing at DGC (DiCicco, Gulman & Company LLP) an accounting and business consulting firm where she leads the development and implementation of the firm’s marketing and business development strategy. Kappy has been a supporter of Silver Lining Mentoring and youth in foster care since 2011.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Silver Lining Mentoring and help children in foster care thrive,” said Kappy Freund. “SLM provides needed services to a segment of our population that is often overlooked. I’ve been impressed with their dedication to the mission and the skill in which the programs are delivered. I look forward to increasing awareness of SLM, and helping the organization flourish as they continue to evolve their services—to ultimately serve even more youth in foster care.”
Founded in 2001, Silver Lining Mentoring empowers youth in foster care to thrive through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills.
